Process Description of Flash Absorption Process based Semi Dry Flue Gas Desulphurization System

  • SO2 in the incoming flue gas reacts with semi solid mixture of lime, recycled calcium sulphate and calcium sulphite
  • The reaction byproducts consist of unreacted lime, CaCO3, and CaSO4.The byproduct collected is recycled along with the fresh lime slurry into the reactor.
